This week we're tapping into two of Indy's best resources - that's Indy with Kids, a resource for Indianapolis' parents and IndyHub - a resource for the professional millennials among us who are here to tell us about No Mean City.

If you are a parent and live in central Indiana, then you better know about Indy with Kids. Katy Mann, the creator of Indy with Kids, moved to Indianapolis in 2002 and struggled to find information on local parks and events that suited her young family's needs. So, she set out to create that resource.

Be sure to check out her website with great information on what to do with your family over spring break!

On today's show, we're joined by a company empowering physicians and patients to liberate themselves from the complexity of the healthcare system - that's Freedom Healthworks. You'll want to tune in and learn more about the work they're doing to simplify healthcare across the board. Then, we'll also welcome Second Helpings - a local organization transforming lives through the power of food and teaching. All this and more, this week on the EDGE!

Are you as frustrated with the healthcare system as we are? Well, let us introduce you to Freedom Healthworks. They are looking to turn the healthcare system upside down by focusing on direct primary care and allowing customers to purchase affordable healthcare from a physician they know and trust.

Adam Habig, the President and Co-Founder of Freedom Healthworks, joins us in the studio to talk more about this new idea for healthcare and how it can help individuals and employers.

We are excited to highlight Second Helpings during the second segment of this week's show. Jennifer Vigran is the CEO of Second Helpings and she shares with us how they take donated and overstocked food from restaurants and grocery stores and then use that to help feed the city. Then they also use the opportunity to train the unemployed and underemployed in the culinary industry.

Public art and cake - what could be better?!? We're back for another great show, Indianapolis, and we're glad you're along for the ride. On today's show, we'll be joined to talk art with the Arts Council of Indianapolis and perhaps an unexpected partner - that's Jiffy Lube of Indiana.

Then, we're talking with the owner of The Cake Bake Shop, an Indianapolis staple. All that and more, this week on the EDGE!

After opening several Jiffy Lubes across the city of Indianapolis, Steve Sanner, the owner of Jiffy Lube of Indiana, thought the sides of his buildings looked a little boring. So rather than keep that way, he decided to reach out to Julia Muney Moore, the Director of Public Art at the Arts Council of Indianapolis, and together they transformed those boring buildings into pieces of art.

Both Steve and Julia are on the show this week to talk about where the idea came from and what some of their favorite pieces of art are on the Jiffy Lube buildings.

So the next time you drive by a Jiffy Lube, look at the beautiful art on the side of their buildings!
