The Indiana Youth Institute is a great organization with locations all over the state that helps promote the healthy development of Indiana children and youth by helping them attain five critical elements of healthy development: physical health and safety, emotional fulfillment, academic achievement, civic engagement, and economic self-sufficiency.
Tami Silverman, the President and CEO of the Indiana Youth Institute, joins us on the Edge of Indy today to talk about their upcoming Because KIDS COUNT Conference. The conference takes place November 27-29 at the Indiana Convention Center. This will be the largest gathering of youth workers and educators in the Midwest.
