On this episode of EDGE of Indy, we're talking about men who cook...sort of! That's Old National Bank's 100 Men Who Cook" event and we'll also be joined by Alyssa Norwalk, owner of a new soap in Broad Ripple - "Plenty Lifestyle" - Let's get this show started, this week on EDGE of Indy!

 

On February 17, at the Old National Centre Egyptian Room, 100 local Indianapolis men will gather to share a taste of their best dish with over 600 guests at an event called "100 Men Who Cook".

All proceeds from this year's event will go to Outside the Box, an organization that helps and supports individuals with developmental disabilities.

Joining us in studio for this segment are Mark Bradford, the Region CEO of Old National, Kelly Hartman, the co-founder of Outside the Box, and Dane Nutty, the Executive Director of Indy Public Safety Foundation.

The Indiana Blood Center is in a dire need of blood donors and they are urging donors to schedule an appointment at one of their centers to donate blood.

Maria Keyler, the Donor Marketing Specialist at the Indiana Blood Center, joins us on the show to share with us this need but also talk about how the Indiana Blood Center helps hospitals all across the state.

While they say all of their supplies are at a critical need, the highest in demand is O-negative as it is the universal use.
