There is always excitement happening at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis and we were lucky to be joined in our studio by Leslie Olsen, the public relations manager at the Children's Museum, and Liz Sewell, the head witch of the Wicked Woods Haunted House. Just this week, they also announced there will be 15 sports legends that will appear on the Old National Bank Sports Legends Avenue of Champions in the Riley Children's Health Sports Legends Experience which is slated to open in March of 2018. What's in store for 2018? They haven't officially said what will come in 2018 yet, but we leave it up to you whether to believe it (or not!)

Amplify Indy is an organization that was started by Harrison Painter three months ago and with this organization, he is promoting and "amplifying" awesome people/brands/causes who are doing great things in the Indianapolis community. One of those causes he is helping to promote is the Hope Center. On August 17th they are holding "Amplify Hope" at Collaborate 317 from 6-8 p.m.

The Hope Center is an organization that provides education, food, shelter, and mental health services to women who have been rescued from the sex trafficking and they are raising money to open the largest rescue center in the country, right here in Indianapolis. They are funded by different church organizations, business, and volunteer donations.

Here are some facts about human trafficking:

- Every year, 300,000+ children under the age of 18 are captured and forced into human trafficking
- The average child that is captured is 12 years old
- A woman that has been rescued has been rape up to 6,000 times

Through the Amplify Hope event, they are looking to raise $20,000 for the center to help them get the final funds they need to open their shelter. Amplify Hope is also looking for sponsors of the event and they are challenging 20 businesses in the Indy area to donate $1,000 to help them raise their goal.

If you are wanting to learn more about the event, please visit their website: http://amplifyindy.com/event/amplify-hope-a-benefit-for-hope-center-indy/

You may not be aware, but one of the most influential companies for the movie studios is located right here in Indianapolis. Fizziology is a great company located in Broad Ripple and they provide social media data to all the movie studios (except Disney) to help them make casting decisions, choose opening days, and predict how well a movie will do at the box office. Their software tracks all the sentiment from users on websites like Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc. and they provide all of that data for TV and movie studios.

Ben Carlson and Jen Handley are Co-founders and Co-CEOs of Fizziology and they also own The Hatch, a co-working facility located in Broad Ripple. Having traveled regularly to the east and west coasts, they saw what worked and what didn't with the typical office and co-working facility. So, they put those lessons into their office and created The Hatch.

What is NinjaZone? That's what we wanted to know - so we had the CEO of NinjaZone Casey Wright in our studio to discuss her NinjaZone sport has taken over the country.

NinjaZone is part gymnastics, obstacle course training, parkour, martial arts, and dance to create one unique sport for kids ages 3-11. The goal of the sport is to move through an environment or a series of obstacles with fluidity prowess and stealth.

This is done by using a combination of flips, jumps, rolls, spins, and kicks - children bring out their inner-ninja while getting a lot of great exercise and athletic skills that can be learned for life.

Coming up this year is the inaugural year for the Ninja Games. Regional competitions will be held in Sacramento, Cedar Rapids, and Chicago with nationals being held in Indianapolis on August 5, 2017.

Casey and her team has done an amazing job building this program and sport. They have already amassed more than 240 locations in just THREE years! Truly amazing and we were very excited to learn more about NinjaZone!
